New Jersey, especially Bergen County is in the midst of a financial disaster so unless having casinos in the area will cost tax payers money I can’t think of a single reason why not to have them.
For those who claim having a casino in the area will raise the crime rate and traffic, what do you think a high unemployment rate and sky high real estate taxes are doing to the area? NJ, (again, especially Bergen County) is losing more and more residents because of the high cost of living here and with most of these residents leaving the area/state so are the tax dollars they provide along with the jobs many of them create.
